Hi there,

as you know, there is a settings button for felons.
you can enable to shoot at radar dots or not.
great idea, but when du you use it with an unit with 435 range???
is there a real possibility to use this? i never found, as i have set it to disabled by default.
i like a safe hit instead the penalty shooting on radar dots.
so with the paladin.
this unit has a huge range and it shoots most of the time on radar dots with hitting nothing.
due its relaod time its a complete waste of shooting at anything.
but i cannot disable this :(
why do we have a useless setting for a unit not capable to use this toggle at all and a unit where it would be great not having this oppotunity?

so please add the button "shoot at radar dots" on/off for the paladin.

Use space + click and disable "Smart AI".

Felon does need the setting; It's shots cost shield charge (and by extension energy). It assumes that it trades shields directly for HP, but that isnt true with radar dots, so you can waste thousands of shield without ever hitting, and that will almost certainly cause you to lose your shieldball.

That said, for paladin, I personally set them to "return fire" and manually set targets with T for the big gun

Avoid Bad Targets (Light) does most of what you want, too, but you'll need to escort the Paladin more than normal because it won't use lightning guns on light raiders.
