Yay, seen it ingame.

Suggestion: run some cool filters to remove rust (and ears). Then profit!

I kinda miss the CA Arm LLT. That was the best, imho.

Agreeing with Pxtl. It looked a little fragile yet had its weapon nicely empathized, which totally described the unit's performance on the battle field and that's important to me. I even used it for the 2v1 mission!

From a style perspective, I don't care either way.

From a confusion perspective, it looks like a Sneaky Pete. Very confusing.

Sneaky pete is black. I'm not sure where you can get this idea. But yes, it's modelled on Cremusss's work (Though NOT the sneaky pete!) so it's no surprise it looks like it.

The CA Arm LLT is also mine and I explicitly made this one to slightly mirror it (the four thin spokes up the side 'suspending' the middle section).

I like the style of Sneaky Pete and Farraday so I don't see the problem here, and I don't think you're actually going to mistake them if you see them side by side (I'll have to play some games and see), but if anyone has any other critique beyond this please go ahead.

I'll admit that I initially liked the model better, but as far as practical use ingame goes it does look like a sneaky pete at a distance when stalled. It may be a bit darker and a bit shinier, but these aspects are difficult to see within a screen full of units and/or in the heat of battle.

Is this really, truly and seriously, the only problem anyone has with the model?

It's rusty (but maybe the nanopattern is old and causes corrosion in newly created unit?) and ears corrupt the aesthetic when gun is pointed away from camera. Those who say it's sneakypete are just crazy, because sneakypete is a storage and this isn't storage.

I think that this rust model don't really fit in the whole game story. I mean we are in future with lasers and so on and than we build such a rusty (pipe) that kills enemy units with a laser. In that time some smart developers will use stainless steel. ;) The problem that it looks like sneaky pete, is a just a temporary problem, because players will learn to distinguish the towers if they see them in more games. (I had a game, were I thoungt that this was a sneaky, but than I lost my raiders and now I know it^^ )

I kind of liked it at first.

But now, it looks really out of place. Blends in with other stuff like Sneaky Pete and Faraday (Yeah.)

I don't care about the rust, and I think aesthetically it looks nice, it's just that it's too easily confused with other units. Gameplay needs to come *first*.
