Bandits are still absolute crap vs kodachi, not to mention they suck at blitz, just slow shit that sucks at AoE

I wrote a long post about this in 2020, the situation hasn't changed

My favorite part is when I play kodachi, my opponents suddenly start sucking, why is that hmm

By the way, the best moment of this match is when Welder kills the bandit. It's awesome, Kodachi can fuck both bandits and my constructors, but I can't kill welder

OK now i wanna roast YOUR game........

sloppy...

out of position...

You played aggro bandit, but your bandits just arent doing much. 4 bandits to defend vs 1 kodachi is pretty overkill.

This is what i was talking about in the other thread, with the spacing. Honestly, since one already died, you couldve commited a bit more here to secure the kill. This was the best possible trade for the kodachi, since now it can kite and play positionally while it regens its hp back. You really cant let kodachis get away with stuff like that. Even trading out a 2nd bandit wouldve been worth, 2 bandits are cheaper than 1 kodachi, and losing kodachi hurts tank pretty bad anyways.

genuinely what are these 2 bandits gonna do xDDDD

ok i agree with you a bit on the whole welder thing, thats kinda aids lmao why does welder even outrange bandit XD

Though there was a kodachi on the way anyways, and your bandits were wasting dps on the mex instead of the con. So its not like the welder was really relevant there anyways

Here you have a good position...... but youre retreating. Instead, these bandits couldve contained the kodachi, and mirrored their movements. Lateral movements, and even moving forward to take more space wouldve been strong. You wanna bait the koda into getting kited.

By this point, the game is pretty cooked. Honestly this wasnt much of a kodachi issue, more like a bandit sucks at aggro issue. Like theres so much naked expansion... but bandits are so low dps and slow that killing the mexes is still pretty hard to do. Like imagine if you have glaives in this position, and you just snuck like 1 or 2 through, and killed every mex. Glaives are way worse vs kodachi, but in this position, thats irrelevant. I think you just played a strategy that doesnt work very well with bandits. Bandits are their strongest when they are kiting against other raiders. Youd probably want to use bandits defensively, to play greedy openings that are backed on the defensive efficiency of bandits. Maybe an aggressive bandit style on other maps where you can rush some important location that gives you a ton of map control. On this map, its pretty easy to just.. go around bandits that are accross the map.

And also, idk what youre even expecting here... vehicles are favored on flat maps anyways. And if you wanted to play an aggressive style (that isnt tank), rovers work.
