Scouting should be costly enough to be a decision, but not so expensive as to be impossible. Zero-K offers a range of ways to scout that reflect the many forms scouting can take.

If you think about it, that may actually be an immediate hazardous situation for the commander. The widows could loop around and alternate stun-locking the comm, and the darts and swifts together could destroy it (if no help arrives).

And/or they could go for the nuke, ofc.

Fwiw the flea would be 100% worth building all the time even if it didn't have a weapon.

It is one of the strongest units in the game - basically an owl that can't be automatically removed except with force firing firewalkers or tremors.
