Hello everyone.
i am working on an upgrade (or better, i let work claude-AI) of the ZK-Infrastructure Github project.

a long time bother to myself is the 2010-style website.
there is a major problem with versions, as the backend project is a mess, running on outdated versions of .Net 4, and everything is heavily mashed together. This is, game backend, bots, website, other infra. websites have no clear API and much is backend rendered with razor, major language is c#
the initial goal was a website refresh to look like BAR, but the problems accumulate. As i got recently a Claude account, i just tried it out on this massive brownfield.
i shifted the goal from a new website => upgrade and improve the backend completely, to be able to later split off the website to use proper current framework via DTO/API (react, angular, vue, ...) to be able to work on it and also to be able for others to work it.
another point is, the required windows server license to run it is costly and eats up so many donations (latest number i know is 1060€ per year in 2019)
=> the primary goal is to run on linux
I got an older database snapshot from
Aquanim and got it to work.
it is now running .Net 9 using Mono and containers on linux.
in the future, i will require assistance to verify the implementation and today i have no plan how to do this. and also to actually replace the current backend. (
GoogleFrog is aware but not involved,
Licho is aware but busy)
