I got an access violation while playing this.

I second the crash.

UPD: after second crash, i spawned a singu over CAI factory and detonated it. No crash after that (maybe mission a bit harder, but nah)

Oh, a crash-unrelated suggestion:

- can you make it start some "intro" music while doing the "briefing" cutscene? Otherwise it's so silent i always think i muted it somehow.

(sifting through my jamendo short tracks playlist for suggestions as i type!)

The crashing is kinda unfortunate :/

Both running on Windows?

Quite annoyingly, stacktrace translator is broke >:| I might mantis it anyway though; more infologs would be helpful in that regard.

I think the fact that I was using a 91.0.1 build might be the reason I didn't crash in my tests.

Well you can have the infolog but it really says nothing (at least to me) except "spring.exe has encountered an unhandled exception: access violation" (together with a stacktrace of ~20 spring.exe and ~5 ntdll.exe levels).

I met a whole different issue (player is not on valid mission slot; only players can vote for !start) when trying to run it from Linux by "hosting in multiplayer", and i couldn't find the bother to download mission AND fire up the startscript, so yes, windows (in my case - 7)

I'll file the infolog from last run somewhere in next 12-14 hours.

That's exactly what my log looks, like, too (the error part).

Hi, I tried to play this as per the instructions (spawning a Springie host with this mod). I get:

Springie3 Hi [MF]Vermind (rights:1), welcome to Springie 2.6.0, automated host. For help say !help

New boss is [MF]Vermind

 [MF]Vermind !balance

!start

Springie3 User [MF]Vermind is not in proper mission slot

cannot start, alliance 1 not fair. Use !forcestart to override

Mm. Does this happen on other missions as well?

If you mean the crash? Then yes.

The "not starting on Springie," I mean.

Actually, it just occurred to me that I can test it myself easily. *facepalm*

@KingRaptor yeah it seems to also happen in other missions, for example http://zero-k.info/Missions/Detail/140 . I am on Linux, NOTA Lobby. I enter the created room, and it tries to download the mod but doesn't get it. I download it manually and place it into .spring/mods. After this, I rejoin the room and everything seems fine. However, I still cannot start the game because of the mission slot issue.

Another suggestion for an intro track

Should stop crashing now.

(no music yet, sorry)

Dynasty, woo! Looks like they/we have gotten soft after the extinction of mankind though, since they didn't even fire at me upon approach.

Naturally, I was constantly wary for their backstab attack...

Otherwise, the mission was a simple and flavorful introduction to chickens gameplay. While the AI seemed to have a good economy and a sizeable army, I don't think it really killed that many roosts. But the AI units worked as meat shields, which left me free to raid the chicken bases.

The bossfight might have been winnable by the AI alone, but by our powers combined, it was a breeze.

Healthbars are okay here, so i'd blame their disappearance in third mission on experimental shaders.

Also, with CAI not crashing, poor dragon dies without ever seeing a turret, heh heh.

Is there no debriefing text for this one? >.>
