Very nice game!

Damn that stiletto was epic. About to stun only the felon, gets shot down, starts spinning and spewing bolts everywhere and boom suddenly Saktoth's whole attack force is emped. :D

and capcars should be removed, why the hell are they still in? They are not fun, they are not well balanced, they are not cool, the skirmisher role is already filled by slasher... what is in their favor.

Oh and also, there was a bug with garbled award text at the end of the game. Here's a link to that part of the video.

That garbling happens to me quite often too. Anyone have an idea what causes this?

Skirmisher is "anti-riot, anti assault". Since when can slashers stop ravagers, or for that matter, thugs?

Domi might not be the best thing, but the alternate solution to enemy assaults for cars is just "spam rav". Which is about all you do once you get to midgame. Spam rav. More rav.

Everything (or almost everything) you dislike about domi can be said about ravager, except that unlike domi, ravager also heavily influences other factories' balance, see all those arguments about "X needs to be OP because otherwise, Ravager!".

granted that ravager is the best assault unit in ZK and could afford to lose some muzzle velocity, that dosn't make the domi mechanic any less awful.

I was thinking about this but all I can think of is a constant disruptor (slow + damage), which would replicate the single-target skirmyness, but I don't think one of the fastest land factories needs a slow and bloody everything has slow these days. It would prettymuch fill domi's niche though of the 'kite truck'.

perhaps a better domi mechanic would be to make the unit be owned by gaia rather than the player, and make the cap permament

A straightforward approach would be to just replace capture ray with a laser and give it enough dps to kill units as fast as it captures them.

But that's Mace.

You could keep the long cool down time between shots, just like the capbeam.

What about a laser beam that starts with little damage and increases its dps over time. With a maximum, off course. A bit like Starcrafts Void Ray

Or long range heat rays. Like the dante. As a Scorcher++

Ballistic napalm bombs with similar range as capcar.

High alpha medium range unguided rockets. I don't think we have that on any land unit yet. 500 metal "Black Dawn a like" with wheels. That shoot 2 - rockets. Minimal AoE, we dont want it to be a riot.

Yes, more directly and not a cloud full of rockets, just 2. And not such a big arc. Vehicles are mostly for open terrain fighting. So a rocket that has a low trajectory looks more in place.

Now am i wondering if it should outrange an llt or not.

For 500 metal, maybe yes. But the slasher is already good at that.

Maybe we could even redesign the wolfering into a skirmisher. That unit is almost redundant anyway.

A high-alpha high-speed (equal to ravager speed, so it can skirm those) hit-and-runner could be a nice thing to play with.
