I just noticed gravbeams target gunships, even though they don't do anything ve em. They should ignore gunships, like they do statics.

They affect the first flying chickens.

Maybe because they cost only 1 metal?

Grav should be a area effect like on Krow.

And this area effect should slow enemy Gunships and speed up your own Gunships.

This would create a very new retreat / attack strategie for flying units

Gravbeams affect fixed wing planes, but not gunships. They affect the flying chickens, because they are fixed wing.

I'm not suggesting anything radical, simply the removal of useless gravbeam targeting toward gunships.

I'm pretty sure they don't target gunships.

I ran a quick test. It appears Newtons indeed don't target gunships, but Jugglenauts do.

Newton can target GunshiTs if you do it manually - they shoulb boost the speed if friendly ones fly over your Newtons :)

They don't affect jumpers while they are jumping :/

What's wrong with this code?
I take a look at it if PW rooms are emty.

They don't affect jumping units, because they're unaffected by physics when they're jumping. Otherwise, they'd probably get damaged during landing.

why not?

sure - not on normal jumps ...

But I think they shouldn't be able to jump far away if there is a high gravity, or should jump far on low gravity planets.

maybe we can add a time window without damage and if they fly much longer than they should need for jumping then they get damage.

If they take 125% of time they get 25% damage
If they take above 200% of time they get 100% damage

Maybe we need to add 10% and use 135% and 210% instead the values above to take care about all cases.

Tried to catch a Licho with 10 newtons -> fail.

It was a sandbox game and a manually targeted Licho.

Fixed wings have to much force with jet engines.

And gunships invert gravity to fly?
What's about hovers?

Well what really happen is that i have notice the Newtons targeting some of the Air Units.... needless to say...they dont work, and all they do is just lift it up by a timy bit.
I think the newtons shouldnt be reacted to the Air units and just forcus on the ground instead.

And if you lift precisions they don't hit units under shields - or avengers who don't decloack snipers.

Snipers shouldn't attack avengers and Vamps too, because they don't hit ?
If we make much more exceptions it would maybe change the whole game design.

They prefer not to target fixedwings.
