Misleading Google Ads on main page sidebar

Pxtl 12 years ago Today when I looked at Zero-K.info I saw a sidebar ad with "DOWNLOAD BUY FREE TRIAL" or something to that effect in massive block letters, obviously intended to confuse users into thinking that these are download links for Zero-K. Keep an eye on how advertisers are trying to mislead your users... marking your ads as ads with some small (ad) text above and below would help. +0 / -0
Pxtl 12 years ago I'm looking at the ad now, - on closer inspection, it says "DOWNLOAD, PLAY ONLINE, SIGN UP FOR FREE TRIAL". No indication of a product is visible - it's obviously intend to mislead users into thinking this is the download/play buttons for Zero-K. On inspection, it goes to http://www.vgamenetwork.com - something called NetballGame. You should contact your ad provider adn get them banned. +0 / -0

That means that you "visit" the ad and help to keep zk alive while the space where the ads are is emty. +0 / -0

NeonSturm 12 years ago I will make this script to enhance zero-k.info Autoclick adds and open them within an 2x2px iframe. But I don't tell anyone except per pm how to make it :) It's my own script and it runs only at my browser - nothing that can hurt the website. I think it would be a nice solution... +0 / -0
