I could have sworn I picked dante as my avatar in the menus when I first started playing 0k. I just looked and I see the options still there but the lua is missing, Idk... sometimes I question my sanity ;q

Good point, since it would be dificult to make... say, a completely destroyed Nurburgring 24h track which is well balanced on both sides, unless the Mex Sites are in the same position.
Off topic: Is it possible to change avatars? If so, how?

Well its almost impossible to have a good 'unscripted' map. By scripted it sounds like you mean they thought about how they wanted their map to play out. Granted, real battles never take place on a small square map with symmetrical advantage points. But maps tend to conform to gameplay which needs balance and 'scripting' is the most sure way to get that balance. Sometimes it's not convenient to be natural either, e.g. it might make it harder for pathing.

And besides who know's, maybe where it comes from it is "natural" ;)
