1 While I was seeking help with understanding the OD gadget in #zkdev, @hokomoko (and me) started theorizing about other ways that OD could be calculated in grids. 1 While I was seeking help with understanding the OD gadget in #zkdev, @hokomoko (and me) started theorizing about other ways that OD could be calculated in grids.

3 One of those was that grids overdrive by taking total e in the grid and total m in the grid into a single formula ( which could differ from the current one) . We got lost trying to establish properties of OD functions that would yield undesired behavior ( "connecting grids leads to less OD") . 3 One of those was that grids overdrive by taking total e in the grid and total m in the grid into a single formula ( which could differ from the current one) . 5 This would be another way in which OD could be changed ("how grids work"), if we're at revamping things. 5 This would be another way in which OD could be changed ("how grids work"), if we're at revamping things.
