^ not working on QWERTZ keyboards was apparently caused by a Spring engine update that somehow made hotkeys no longer see all keyboards as QWERTY. As such ~ no longer works here. A [url=https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/Zero-K/pull/1423]fix to restore the old map draw hotkey was applied around two months ago[/url], but since people are "tired all the settings adjust after each update" this update did not overwrite existing zk_keys.lua files.
