One gauss I see on the forward eastern hill at about 40% is indeed firing a lot, but its shots peter out at its range cap, which wesley is skirting. Once wesley's troops enter the range proper, the shots actually connect.

Is it a quirk of the height?

Edit:
hmm
looking
at
the
one
firing
at
about
~58%
or
so,
a
lot
of
its
shots
are
indeed
just
evaporating
before
it
hits
the
target,
even
when
the
target
is
within
its
firing
circle
for
the
full
duration.

Is
it
just
firing
*over*
wesley's
troops?
