I have a particularly hard time against the reaver phantom combo. The reaver's DPS is so high no units in hover can afford to confront them. Phantom is not difficult to find -- they're granted protected by reavers, so I can't effectively kill them. If I produce maces or scalpels, they will be sniped one by one. Now they push in and I know my doom is close.

Also looking at the larger picture, as hover I struggle to attack. I recently play a lot of hover cuz dagger raiding feels so great, but once the opponent gets the defence ready it doesn't work anymore. So I always get a strong opening that leads to nowhere. In case you guys don't know, I'm the kind of player who has a highest winning rate with shieldbot - I just raid a lot and then build a shieldball to crush everything. With hover, the raiding part feels even better, but the next step isn't clear. When I feel things are not going well I'd switch factory. Yet still reaver phatom ball is a threat. Gunships definitely don't work. I've tried air but I'm not an expert using them. Just as I'm drafting this post I find I haven't tried striders. Scorpion or merlin seems like possible solutions. What would you guys do in such a position?
