1 Okay, I'm also seeing it now if I boot into Manjaro (Intel+Nvidia), where it never used to be a problem. But it's not currently an issue on a different machine running Linux Mint. 3 If I recall recent updates from the "stable" channel of Manjaro, there were some package changes in the audio backend related to PipeWire. Maybe this is a side effect of those...? 5 (Edit: Fully opting into pipewire and removing pulseaudio didn't improve the muffled audio)
