This is certainly something someone could look into. I recall the offmap damage being percentage based. Also bouncing back off the map after entering, due to sloped terrain, seems like something to try to avoid.

If
this
were
a
tournament
game
then
I'd
say
that
the
game
is
the
game,
and
it
should
be
played
as
it
is.
Whether
or
not
you
know
about,
and
can
exploit
or
avoid,
this
interaction
would
be
treated
as
a
skill
issue.
On
the
other
hand,
if
nobody
knew
or
cared
about
skill
rating
at
all,
then
it
might
make
sense
to
noelo
it,
if
we
could
be
sure
that
it
is
degrading
match
balance.
In
reality
we
are
somewhere
between
the
two.
The
tiebreaker
may
be
that
I
don't
want
the
ability
to
complain
about
bugs
that
caused
a
game
loss
to
factor
into
the
elo
calculation
(
which
it
would
if
such
complaints
were
granted)
.
