This feels like a personal issue, unless you can identify something literally not-legible. Also, a majority of research papers do not have very interesting hooks, because they are not articles written for entertainment.

(I realize that, yes, in a perfect world, the abstract accomplishes both, but I am mainly just here for data analysis...)

I was actually going to format this in LaTeX and then upload it as a PDF, but my plans changed a bit. Either way, compared to other research articles, this is still incredibly accessible. Ever had to compile sources for a thesis...?

I have 1214 posts in 103 threads. Out of those, a total of 2 have generated text, and only one has legit completely generated text (and this point, while potentially in poor taste, was somewhat intended as a joke). It seems to me the vast majority of my time in this game has been spent hosting community events and supporting the community. On what basis do you think that there is anything you could potentially call "history" here?

I don't quite agree with this, but I think that there is no one correct way to measure this, and even you did decide to use patches as milestones, you would then need to decide what criteria counts as a "major" patch, etc.

I wrote this trying to be nice and it seems like you all just want to shit on it for no reason. Show yourselves the door.
