If a sumo is in a slope and leaning against a laser weapon or EMP lighting weapon it will take less damage from it. In some cases it will take less than half the damage causing an Annihilitor to deal less than 2000 damage from each beam.

Tested with Annihilators, Penetrators and Spies. Golly cannon seems to deal about 1000 damage everytime though so it might just be laser weapons and such. Sharpshooter also deals about 1500 damage everytime it shoots.
