besides the last scout fail of myside when I got dominated I think I could have turned this to an easy win much earlier. But how?

In no particular order:

Feed thunderbirds less :D
Thunderbirds can deal with light AA and maybe 1 felon. More than that and you need something else.

Feeding raptors to an ogre also doesn't help.

Six owls is way too many owls for a map this size. Two suffices, three or four if you really care about jamming.

Cloak is quite poor mid-late game, suffering severely from attrition. Once big shieldballs appear it's time to either go for the cloaked knight ball or transition to something that works at scale, like amph, shield, tank or strider. A badgered shieldball in particular is not something cloak deals with well.

Don't attack shieldballs with undepleted Aspis using Likhos. A few slings to get the shield under 2k then a Likho works great. Put in a raptor or two to soak enemy fire if dealing with burst AA like Crasher.

Configure default priorities so that metal extractors are high priority.

Explain to your ally how eco works (e.g. they don't need 120bp for their factory if they only have 30m/s income)

Use a couple of slings to weaken aspis so your initial sniper shows are lethal.

Be careful with explosions around light units, a lot of things explode, particularly factories and caretakers. The glaive swarm that attacked the enemy base half way through could have ended to game if it avoided the explosion and went for the domis.

Rebuild mexes fast, particularly if you have jamming coverage from owls. cloakcon can easily hide from an enemy army and a mex makes it's cost back in about 50 seconds.

In the late game with airfac you want a proper pad with caretakers to repair to save yourself clicks and headache.

Attacking where the enemy is weakest is generally best, so if the enemy's AA is mostly in a shieldball? Go hit the undefended geo/domi ball/commander/fusion.

Stingers are cheap and generally a good bet vs scorps and domis, flash building them will often work better than flashing desolators if under attack (they start doing damage much sooner.

Thanks for your response :-)

In general

> Feeding raptors to an ogre also doesn't help.

Thats by mistake. I know ogres and usually I avoid this even with bombers except with a likho

> Feed thunderbirds less :D

Yeah it was kinda panic to prepare the final bombing for that ball... but the handling of those were pretty bad. Maybe I should have tried some swifts to distract AA.

> Don't attack shieldballs with undepleted Aspis using Likhos. A few slings to get the shield under 2k then a Likho works great. Put in a raptor or two to soak enemy fire if dealing with burst AA like Crasher.

I know this shieldattack tactic as well. Sometimes you are lucky so shield is already so low on engery that likho boms through. Usually I try to lure them by e.g. slings or yes even impalers.

In general it seems it was just too much to handle at one time even then teaching a newcomer would have even throw me out of the game. Once I felt into too much of hectic Ifail with one tactic I tried to rush another tactic which likely failed and that all over the map. I just wanted to have radar coverage so I rushed some more owls in case some die :)

Oh you can do this? I only use priority by hotkey but would have to do that for every single mex. Thanks!

Yes. It is kinda tricky to always hit the right point when do move out all other light units and keep only one. But there again I think I tried to control other things on map in the meantime.
I think I should focus more on one attack and do not do every tactic at the same time.

I rarely noticed the domi ball and did not think about it become bigger, also I could have placed fleas to maybe detect it much earlier.

> Stingers are cheap and generally a good bet vs scorps and domis, flash building them will often work better than flashing desolators if under attack (they start doing damage much sooner.

I think that might could have worked out. But still I did not know where scorpions go so I tried to save one area with something heavy. But yes if this is dead this area is weak too.

I really think I should focus more on one attack. usually I know what unit is best vs some other unit ( ball ) ... but it was maybe too much all over the map. :)
Again. Thanks for your valueable input!
