I won on macro. I had better eco. I had a lot higher everything than YurGa. Shields are op. Snipers don't counter them. Ticks don't counter them. Zeuses don't counter them. Cloakies do not have a counter to a strong aspis ball.

get a cloaker and get army close with eqally cost of shieldball in zeus, some ticks before.

if you let him be that strong in eco(and you claim you had more than him), you not used the advantage.

Not unless you have tons of them, and even then you have to stun everything. The stiletto is not in the cloaky fac either.

Dunno, one of my most enjoyable matches in the last month was where I played tanks and smashed a shieldball with goliath and reapers. Having had difficulties vs shieldballs in the past made it more rewarding than other games.

Not as much as shields. You can usually find weak points and gaps in defenses, but you don't have any choice about whether to kill a shieldball. Defenses only get really really unfun to deal with when it gets onto HLTs and behemoths, which usually indicates you are playing on a bad map. That red comet game had some quite heavily defended areas, but they could still be broken and the game was still fun.
