Tagged hilly, if it wasn't for the cliffs it could even go through as flat; Vehicles can go anywhere spiders can, except cliffs. Cliffs are 'map border' similar to Seths Ravine and Gehenna Rising, so I think 'mountains' doesn't really work here.

IMO 'mountains' means 'spider/jumper required/favoured'. There is no map that greater fits that description than this one.

Seriously? This one is not spiders/jumpers at all! Not even half the players I see go spiders/jumpers on this map. I wouldn't either, it's just a waste. Where do you think these units are 'favored'? On what part of the map? Maybe your very own terraformed superwall? lolztrollz

Nope, you're just being silly. Minelaying artillery's super duper on this map, as are Levelers (push shit down the cliffs), Weazels (robust flea), Merls (small map, super range), Slashers (the middle hole is a SUPERB defense for your Slasherspam), yeah and of course all the other ones.

Same goes for kbots btw, Anything's as useful as spiders/jumpers on this map.

Try using jumpers or Ticks allterrain abilities. Ticks can run on the cliff walls in the center and stay out of LLT/missiletower spam that is usually built right next to it. This way Ticks can get close enough - emping half a dozen defenses, one or two commander and several mobiles, depending on luck, skill and the situation.

Ticks also work like that on any other map with cliffs like that.

The water at the map edges is probably meant for just decoration, but in ZK it's possible to pull off some cheesy stunts with a recon commander, jumping to your opponents' base from the water. Also, you can construct turrets into the enemy base from the water level.

Would people approve if I remade the map with acidic water? The water's even green already.

I have never seen anyone do that. It would be epic if they did. Building windgens in water maybe worse but I do not see players doing that either.

Acid would be fine with me though.

hiding fusion in water could work. or maybe a gunship lab?
but i dont think the water is that important that it "breaks" the map.

I think I already told Jasper he was silly for building a fusion behind the ramp once instead of under water.. or maybe it was another high elo player. Whatever, they lost the game anyway.

If I remember correctly it was the game where a Licho made a Zeus fly.. or something.
