This update attempts to implement terrain changes suggested by GoogleFrog. Vehicles can no longer go through the pits, and can no longer access the upper plateaus.

That was never the case, at least on one side of the map. The other side had full vehicle access to the top.

That orange strip allows access by vehicles. As in vehicles can go up it to gain access to the upper level. Ramps not allowing access would mean it was all purple. There are also the side ramps, which were previously vehicle-traversible on both sides, but now only on one.

One side had big invisible areas preventing vehicles from going up the ramp, the other side didn't.

I really don't understand why people want to keep it this way. But if you do, Titanduel 2 exists.

I was pointing out that if you sent a vehicle unit up that ramp it would make it to the top by travelling along the orange bit, gaining access to the upper level. You implied before the ramp didn't allow access to the upper level.

And if asymmetry was an issue, that this 2.1 version introduces a new asymmetry by making one of the side ramps unusable by vehicle but the other not.

I never implied anything of the sort. I said it is not correct that both slopes were completely accessible before. One side had full access, the other partially obstructed.

There's a tiny pathable slot on 2.1 I didn't see before.

Full vehicle accessibility to a side means that both ramps on can have vehicles run up them. This ramp:


Has no effect on vehicle accessibility on the scale of sides because a vehicle that tries to go from the bottom to the top is barely affected by the purple areas. The big purple area is unimportant on the scale of units moving around the map. It is only important tactically but fights rarely occur on the corner ramps so people didn't notice. It's not that people want to keep the big purple area, it's that the ramp was, for practical purposes, a vehicle ramp and now it isn't.

With the new ramps it looks like the left side is inaccessible and the right side is only accessible in the middle ramp.
