Yesterday, when placing solars, sometimes they would get instantly deleted. First I thought their placement was invalid, so just like units now simply stop in place when they cant reach their target (ugh). But then involuntary double clicks started showing up in other games and programs.

Apparently, Sigero has that problem for a long time now.

Check your mouse settings, you should be able to change the threshold for double-clicks. Try requiring faster speed.

Nah, I got this in situations where double clicks would be unadvisable, like the diplomacy menu of a turn-based strategy game LOL.

I have the same issue with an old cheapo mouse. There it definitely is a hardware error. If you have made sure it's a hardware error and don't want to buy a better mouse (which I would strongly recommend), you can look for some workarounds

Also consider checking accessibility options for Parkinson's disease..

This problem seems incredibly unlikely to have anything to do directly with ZK or Spring.

It's called click bouncing and it is a common hardware problem. Drivers commonly alleviate it for a while by adding a dead period after the first click, but usually the problem keeps progressing and eventually there is no way to prevent bouncing without also preventing double clicks. This also affects expensive mice just as well as cheap ones.

You can try cleaning contacts if you want to mess with this or if you dont want to throw away a 150$ mouse - or if the mouse is cheap, it might be easier to just get a new one.

ZK may be actually causing faster progression of this issue because, you see, ZK involves a lot of clicking.

I burned 4 different high quality(supposedly) sets of mouse+kb over the last ~8 years...
shit just does not live longer than 2 years if you use it daily for 8-10 hours :\

Firepluk you should check the temperature ratings. I bet you're operating your equipment outside specifications while cooking lobsters. Astonishing to hear that it still lasted two years.

If it's high-quality, I expect you were able to return it under warranty after breaking so early?

running for warranties is boring... I just normally go and buy a new one...

Casual reminder that "high quality gamer mouse" means "a lot of bells and whistles and a lot of sharp edges", rather than "good materials, reliable design, and good manufacture".
