What do you think of thumbs up and down features being added to zero-k players during a match which perminently viewed on the side of a player.

You can view their ratings on their page on the games that they've played with exact game enlisting and time, even for spectators. Also tell me what you think if it affected them physically in ways such as curses which permanently increases penalties.

I'm not sure such a feature would be meaningful for our community and wouldn't provoke more toxicity. Reporting people with evidence (replay) still does the job.

It promotes more problems than it solves.

Very true @zenfur , players can always thumbsdown everyone they spectate just for the sake of doing it.

Feels like it might get abused to harass new players too easily.

P1: Push now!
Newbie: Idk how
P1: Thumbs down!

Also putting curses on players completely messes up the fundamentally fair nature of the game.

The idea is still valid, because many games have a commendation system. If we say the thumbs down already exists as reports, having the ability to commend player might be nice.

It's not like I see it being implemented before steam though.

One thing I've always hated about system like this is it is so easy to farm karma. Evryone just starts saying repetitive cheesy meme shit for easy upvotes and agreeing with each other all the time, just ends in a constant circlejerk.

Just as awful of an idea as up/down voting forum posts for their value. The only thing voting is good for is finding funny content. (see the post that lists the top 25 or so ZK posts ever created) Sometimes voting is good for porn and art too, but not always. At least that's my experience.

ratings on a replay-based basis to find educating/entertaining games would be cool.
