Hi everyone.I've been playing zk for a few weeks and I'm curious to know what your favorite in game strategies and build setups are. 👳‍♂️

what i like to do in team games often is

slow cooking recipe:

skip raiding completely, just start with a riot to defend my self from raids, keep it alive (retreat and repair) and just spam anti-heavy or artillery
hovercraft : 1 mace then pure lance spam
cloakies: 1 reaver then Phantoms , sometimes hammers if enemy plays tower defence.

theres not much riot guarded Lance or Phantoms cant take down (even up to heavy striders).

I tend to do the exact opposite, by building lots of raiders early on. I basically get a large ball set up to find anything my opponent leaves vulnerable, and strike them there. To account for the amount of attention the raiders need, I tend to make large build orders for my constructors, and tend to have my commander expand towards the enemy to help intercept enemy counterattacks.

Personally, I prefer to fight with units that can tank hits, so that they're more likely able to successfully return to my nearest designated fallback point for repairs. For this reason, I tend to favor starting factories with more expensive raiders, such as Tanks or Gunships. For the same reasons, I tend to shift towards smaller striders like the Dante, Scorpion, and Funnelweb, fairly early, after, say, 5 or so minutes have passed.

However, I also like how easy it is to avoid getting targeted when my units are cloaked, so I'll often spam Phantoms for assaults, or escort my striders with an Iris.

Finally, if the game looks like it'll drag on, I'll build superweapons within my base, starting with a single Trinity before moving onto a Disco Rave Party. I'll still primarily rely upon my striders to do most of the fighting though.

For first 15 minutes i play balanced. I try to expand, maybe raid, rather defend aganist raiders and silly tactics. Then, i look at the map coverage.
If i am winning (rarely happens...) then i just keep it up.
If i am losing, i switch into assaultball. Though assaultball sucks in Shieldbots.
With said assaultball i just circle around all defences, and go for eco.
This basically resets income if successfull.
If this fails, well, game is set in stone at this point.

Overwhelm enemy with strong eco
Pulverize enemy attacks by countering quickly and adapting
Pressure enemy with curtain fire and giving false impressions to their radar sight
Rush and slip through enemy defenses and destroy key targets like factories to impede/delay their production
