Can devs do something about tremor? Its really annoying. In every casual team game at least one player start spam tremor and cancer starts. I don't like of course area cloaker spammer but its not just area cloakers who suffer from it. And area cloakers appears later in game then tremor while tremor can be spammer already from beginning. But as clokay i have no use for snipers or other invisible units. And its not even just invisible unit problem. That area is just denied for almost everything. Tremor isn't for destroying porc but just for area denial and for reasonably small cost with such range and saturation.
Maybe it can be moved in strider hub and buff it somehow? Tanks already have very powerful artillery.
Or at least nurf it. Tremor range is very large making difficult to kill it if its under porc protection.
Not even mention that tremor is not only annoying from enemy side but form incompetent ally as well.

That's the Merlin you are talking about. Which also happens to be very good counter for Tremor. Although, slight nerf for tremor might indeed be in order.

But the very moment tremor is nerfed, strategy of rushing and porcing center of map/supermexes/other very important points is going to become REALLY strong. What are other couters to porc? Tacnuke? Too costly. Big Bertha? Long build time and costly initially too. Porc is gonna be pain in the ass...

Merlin is different because is more point nuke and it have limiter area saturation bombardment with large reload time. Tremor isn't.

The main problem is that tremor is used with this tactic to protect porc. Like in FolsmomDam. One or two player go in mid ruhing porc but third follow with tremor. Tremor is not used to kill porc but defend it now. You cant bring in your own artillery because tremor have larger range. Cloaky suck, shields suck, jumpers suck, spider suck, hovers suck. Only impaler can shoot from safe range. And not only because tremor have larger range but also because it flattens ground down. In this days where i played i saw tremor only as area denial weapon or porc protector. Not porc breaker. On larger maps its isn't so problematic (just go around) but in smaller ones when enemy got it you just cant do anything about it when it surrounded by porc. Cata is reasonable counter but costly one.

Emissaries and cerberus are also counters to tremor. And tacnukes can one-shot them from very far away at a profit, if the enemy isn't using shielding.

That aside, I agree tremors feel too dominating atm. When a tremor is in play both sides have to adapt their entire strategy to it, feels like too much impact for a unit that only costs 1500 metal.

Clusters of course. From my expierence 6 vs 6 starting. I already write that this is problem is in casual rank games where is mostly cluster games. And so? Devs destroyed funnel who almost had never use in 1 vs 1 or small teams. First it lost gauss, then it lost its next guns, then its drones was nerfed, after that it become useless big constructor with energy eating area shields who is just used not to support units but same porc.. Only one ground strider with drones was destroyed. Now low level player spams them and be useless in entire game. Why not think something new about tremor? Maybe it could shoot repair balls around...

I think that maybe reducing the Tremor's max range a bit to let other artillery fight it easier might be a way to approach it. That or slight dmg nerf. Tremor has received only buffs for so much time because it was a joke meme unit before the buffs. It got impact area buffed (twice I think - once radius once dmg falloff), damage and addition of flattening was added and then strengthened. At that time Pillager was also really overpowered as it was effectively a skirmisher with even greater damage.

Tremor is not the only artillery that is used together with porc for protection. It's all of artillery.

I feel adamant that the problem is terraformed, arty resistant porc - not the artillery. The only reason artillery is even meta is because this kind of porc wins out over assaults.

Porc + tremor is one problem. Another problem is about that you can deny massive area even when tremor is defended by regular units. Especially in early game where somebody rushes it. You cant do anything vs protected tremor. Air is alteranative but if enemy have good air player then it will mostly fail. 1300 range is larger then any other artillery. If you want to counter it with pene or pillager you will risk loose them. Its almost impossible to counter if rushed fast. Few facs allow some counter vs it. When i play and enemy got tremor everyone starts headache and everyone start try build cata.

Faraday stunning Licho is your problem there. Newton has no business to be hitting fast moving air at all. Tremor being a good option just means that current teamgame balance encourages porc stalemate into arty and shits on the counters to both porc and arty. Which, you know, seems to be the case.

how is this related to any solution of tremor being the go-to in team-games? Just saying "oh it`s teams, it`s shit anyway " might be right but is definitely nothing close to being constructive.

Terraform could use a nerf, and that would indirectly nerf tremor, but I think tremor would still need its own nerf. Nerfs for everybody!
