could need startboxes to be fixed,
should be west vs east not north vs south

No I meant what "changing in gameside" looks like...

Frankly, east vs west should be worse than stormsiege. I don`t think it is a good idea to change the only extremely-wide map into something like StormSiege/SuperLongCat

This map punishes typical TAW playstyles. So players perform significantly different than what their ranking suggests. Then the balancing is whack and this leads to loop-sided matches. Or this map is just the needed reminder to build units early 🤷

Disregarding everything about "playstyles", this map frequently results in a situation where a team loses on account of losing in one part of the map, and everybody playing on the rest of the map (on either team) has little to no influence over the outcome of the game. Not a great feeling.

sigh. there are tons of maps that don't result in satisfying gameplay, yet people vote for them.
I personally think that these things are okay, as long as they are confined to a single map.

I wouldn't unfeature Valiant Saltscape. But I am in no hurry for somebody to make another map in its genre.

That being said, Ancient Vault has some similar properties and I think it is a mildly better experience.

I'd want to see this map more often in the larger lobbies. It's got the wide frontage of a jumbo map but without the depth that makes those games drag.
