Installed Zero-k with the terminal instructions form: https://zero-k.info/Wiki/DownloadLinux

The log shows:
Zero-K.exe Information: 0 : Trying to start with GUI
Could not set X locale modifiers
Zero-K.exe Information: 0 : Checking for self-upgrade
Zero-K.exe Information: 0 : Querying default engine
Zero-K.exe Information: 0 : Reseting configs and deploying AIs
Zero-K.exe Information: 0 : Connecting to steam API
[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; SteamAPI_IsSteamRunning() failed.
[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; unable to locate a running instance of Steam, or a local steamclient.so.
Zero-K.exe Information: 0 : Starting
Zero-K.exe Warning: 0 : Spring exit code is: 127, assuming crash
[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; SteamAPI_IsSteamRunning() failed.

Is there a way to tell what crash 127 is?

also in a previous attempt, Zero-k.exe had a error message that was fixed with:
sudo apt-get install libcanberra-gtk-module
This should probably be added to the linux install instructions.

installing libopenal1 worked. How did you know I was missing it?
I was also missing sdl; however, the instructions said I may need it to start spring, I was having issues with the loby.

I googled "spring exit code 127" and got this GH page which suggested to install those packages: https://github.com/beyond-all-reason/Beyond-All-Reason/issues/2021

Can anyone modify https://zero-k.info/Wiki/DownloadLinux to add these dependencies: libcanberra-gtk-module libopenal1?
