can i make my own maps

I downloaded the maps from BAR, by browsing to:
https://www.beyondallreason.info/faq/where-can-i-find-maps
then clicking "Google Drive Folder",
then clicking "Download all".

I copied the map:
mediterraneum_v1.sd7
into:
.../Steam/steamapps/common/Zero-K/maps/

I am playing this map without issues.

The only different thing is that, when I select it before starting the game, it does not show any value for the columns:
Size
Type
Terrain

Can I assume that the maps for BAR are compatible with Zero-k?
By the way, I am doing this because I have not found a "Download all" button in Zero-K.
