im sorry for your loss.. and even more for your dogs loss of sight.. with your help and love your dog may yet still enjoy a good quality of life. many dog owners abandon disabled dogs.
i would like to mention your post should have clarified your attempts to correct your dogs condition.
"he has had pink eye for a weeks now"...
this would mean you had weeks to treat your dogs eye condition.. perhaps you did treat it? let us assume so or at the very least that the eye condition was unpreventable once noticed..
perhaps there are things i dont understand or maybe you struggled to afford a vet or medication? never-the-less it would be unfortunate if your inaction was the cause ~ as a dog is like a child and often depends on the wisdom and care of its owners.
