PW would change with a daily limit on the number of battles a player can participate in.

Players are given 8 battles per day, which solves several problems at once.

Now it makes sense to clearly send the best players where they need to go, and this is even more important.
Everything slows down significantly; an event can last a week.
There's time for sleep and food.
Low-ranking players become significantly more important.

To avoid the problem of limited membership, factions should be limited in number. For example, 15 slots are available for joining. Until everyone has used 15 slots to join, no more will be available.

I would also add the creation of titles in the faction, because it is fun.

I don't know if this is the answer, but it seems like a good answer to me.

While yes people could make multiple accounts, there are already opportunities to cheat and I don't think people are taking them, and this would be a lot more hassle.

Isn't smurfing already bannable? I see no reason not to implement something like izirayd's suggestions.

If possible, we could add a positional mechanic where each player is a piece on the board.

For example, SErankPLT_Godde and I could be on a planet at a certain point, and then we could fly, moving to other planets. I think this is the basis for Master of Orion (the ancient game where all this comes from).

This would allow players to counter each other positionally and add variety to the game.

I'd generally do this in the style of a ship, the number of available moves, and ship upgrades. The ship belongs to the player and is their piece.

In fact, changes in PW in the LLM era are practically easy, on any scale, considering that it is a web
