What do you do when you've got a lot of new players in your Zero-K clan? The answer is simple: pit them up against each other!
Coming from the Zero-K communities The Frat House and FIGHTORDER!, we are launching our first ever informal Zero-K Tournament! The TFH Tournament is an oddly unique tournament—with no prize, the real reward is both experience and entertainment.

Tournament Structure

  • The tournament is open-rank. Anyone of any rank & elo is allowed to participate.
  • The tournament is in a Double-Elimination format (includes a losers bracket).
  • Seeding is based on each players elo rating as it appears on April 25th 2026.
  • There is no prize (however this may change) and the tournament, while still competitive, is informal and mostly just for fun, learning, and entertainment.
  • Matches will be streamed live on my Twitch

Dates & Participation

  • To participate, you may simply reply to this post expressing your interest. You can also ping me (@smallketchup82) in the TFH Discord Server's #Zero-K channel to join.
  • The registration deadline is April 25th. The bracket may change at any moment up until then.
  • Matches will be held over the weekend of May 2nd & 3rd. The time and order for individual matches will be released on April 25th.
    • Some matches may be held at a different date depending on participant availability. Given the half-competitive nature of this tournament, we are highly accommodating to different timezones!
  • You must join the discord server to participate.
  • The list of participants can be found on the Challonge Bracket.

Predictions

  • Predictions are a system built into the bracket allowing viewers to predict how the entire tournament will turn out before the tournament starts.
  • Correct predictions will net a viewer 1 point for each correct prediction. There will be a leaderboard to track viewers with the most prediction points throughout the tournament.
  • Viewers can make predictions anytime between April 25th and May 2nd via the Challonge bracket site. You likely will need to sign up with Challonge to do so.
  • The top 3 on the prediction leaderboard will be invited to commentate for the Grand Finals matches, as a testament to their excellent knowledge on player matchups, playstyles, and maps picks.
  • We hope this satisfies your gambling fix 😄

Map Pool

Participants will pick maps at the start of their match. The map will be decided based on a ban system (A-B-A-B-A-B) where each participant takes turns banning a map until only one remains.

There are 7 maps total:
  • Zion
  • Living Lands
  • Fairyland
  • Frosty Cove
  • Pools of Illys
  • Sparkles Reef
  • Mercurial

This map pool may be subject to change up until April 25th! If you have any suggestions for changes, let us know in the discord server!

Rules & Advice

  • Cheating is not allowed and is an instant disqualification.
  • You must win on skill alone, outside interference will result in a warning and/or disqualification. This includes getting any comms or advice from spectators to gain an unfair advantage, and looking at any live streams of the matches to gain an advantage over the enemy.
    • Live streams may have a hidden delay of up to a minute to discourage any instantaneous advantages that can be gained from viewing them.
  • You must follow Zero-K rules at all times. Harmless trash-talking, banter, and joking is allowed, but any bullying, harassment, hate speech, or slurs, is not tolerated.
  • If you cannot play the rest of your matches in the tournament due to unforeseen circumstances (medical, scheduling problems, etc.), you may either request a sub, or drop out of the tournament (in which your subsequent matches will all be regarded as a loss).
  • Forfeiting matches is allowed. You are explicitly allowed to use the "Resign" button during matches.
  • If you lose, treat it as a learning opportunity instead of an insult. This is an open-rank tournament, unless you're high elo, focus on your final placements rather than winning the entire tournament.
  • Practice the map pool, watch your opponent's replays, fight them in friendly battles, and come up with a strategy.
