SpringMeet 4/25/2025 (XTA/MF/KP)

Hi All,

It is rare that we have a chance to play older or less well known spring games, so Fightorder is hosting a casual event this weekend for games such as:

- XTA
- Metal Factions
- Kernel Panic
- potentially NOTA

The event will take place on 4/25/2025 at 23:00 UTC, which is 18:00 EST.

Simply show up if you wish to participate. I will release a loose schedule sometime this weekend.

I reccomend the use of skylobby for this event, although I believe we may have to bounce around a bit to get some of the games working. We will figure it out as we go.

I recommend using my fork of skylobby which just had its default server list updated:

Spring Official (lobby.springrts.com)
Beyond All Reason (server4.beyondallreason.info)
Metal Factions (mfserver3.metalfactions.pt)
Recoil Official (lobby.recoilengine.org)
Tech Annihilation (lobby.techa-rts.com)

skylobby can stay connected to multiple servers simultaneously. Maybe one day it'll let users connect to ZK's servers too ;)

As far as i know techA's community still plays on the springrts.com server and not on their separate lobby server.

MF also has a fallback battle room on springrts.com but if you're going to play it I recommend joining the populated room on the MF server instead. Also, check the web site and join the MF discord

Haven't seen XTA, KP or NOTA rooms in a while. There's also S44, SplinterFaction and MechCommander Legacy (MCL)
