Can we limit the time for pings,speed settings etc to avoid spam

Just today I played a game where people were swinging around game speed and it was making me freeze and was just an unplayable mess. The other issue is that some players spam the ping buttom a lot and that gets annoying too. It's not a big deal but for me personally it pisses me off sometimes. Maybe limit it to allow pings with a 5 sec delay or something? Same for gamespeed. Again not really a big deal but just like a pebble in your boot kinda annoying.
