This map.. I don't know whether h, v or corners is best.. I think it should RANDOMLY pick any of those:

Actually.. it should randomly pick any of those on most maps, 'cause nearly every existing map is playable like that.

Because it's a really bad map for Zero-K. It is spider or jumper only, which means flea vs flea or pyro vs pyro or pyro vs venom.

Gunships or planes also hovers or heavy veh in center. Only in 1vs1 is it jump or spider.

In anything larger than 1v1 it has way too few resources (even 1v1 is sparse), and everything is about what you rush with your initial resources.

It's a super-blind rps where the game is decided very early.

Technically you could metal-mult, so it's not just about resources, but size also. You don't have the territorial play you get on good maps. You pretty much just have your mex, and don't worry about your resource management.

Some people might like this gameplay style but it's probably more accurate to consider it a "special" map, like duck and trololo.

I think it's lots and lots and lots of fun. Really great. Only very few other maps have heightmaps as interesting as this.

This map forces spider/jumper. So it's pyro vs pyro or flea vs flea much of the time.

How are size and metal map a problem? The only one I see is the high amount of mexes in the center. There's tons of maps with a low metal density. Usually the lower the better.

What about giving east vs west a try? The heightmap would give more advantage to defense and make the map less chaotic.

Why is low metal density a good thing? You remove the part of the game that is about managing balance between expansion and raiding, army positioning and splitting, pretty much the whole game. You end up just having a micro-off between a few units on each side.

Between this and the comment that RTS can't be made for 1v1, I think the type of game you are looking for Skasi is MOBA.

I would recommend checking out LoL.

Come on its not bad map at all. Just increase metal and problems solved, middle has tanks bots sides spiders jumps. Its just different than typical flaty flat, or wety wet.

I want this map back! I miss it! It was TONS of fun.

Map size is NOT bad. There are 8x8 maps and 24x24 maps, this is a nice 10x12.
Metal is NOT bad either. There's Icy Run and Trololo, this is just as valid if not more so.
Heightmap is NOT bad either. Just cause some factories aren't as viable as others doesn't mean a map should be unfeatured.

Should be featured!

This map is at least 2/3 of: more interesting, more beautiful and more fun than:
BananaValley
Chicken_Farm
Chicken_Nuggets
Chicken_Roast
Geyser_Plains
Real
Painted Desert
Melt

Yet all of these maps are featured, while this one is not.
