This reminds me of that other green map that looks just like this quicksilver. As to that, can any units get through that but spiders or is it mostly impassable?

For 1v1 i recommend to disable air factory plopping.

It is technically possible to add "!setoptions air_ploppable=0" to the "Springie commands" textarea i see above the post form.

I will attempt this in about four hours unless stopped.

EErankAdminAnarchid it will not work unless you tag all the othermaps as "!setoptions air_ploppable=1. So it is a bad idea.

Ah, i totally forgot to try this, i'll put up a reminder today.
It shouldn't screw other maps because options are cleared on map change.

Science had to be done, until we ran out of cake.

End result: Iceland has now been declared a no-fly zone. Options don't transfer to other maps on same host.

The server will display a warning about this when map is selected.

Can I ask why air was disabled? Tanks can do up and down these ramps fine.

Primarily because in 1v1 and small teams, air is too devastating because of map's expanse and distances between mexes.

Which is no fun.

Also, because it was a fun thing to try.
