Nice trees... haven't seen those on any other maps

Ah this is the famous aGorm's map whose screenshot was in the Spring site, and everyone wondered from what map it is.

Would be nice map if not the massive reclaim everywhere. It has a total of 180000 metal in reclaimable features...

it has a bazillion ferns and they are all worth metal, it may be a good map if it didn't have them

Aren't the trees GIGANTIC though? Also iirc their hitspheres or something are even more gigantic, which results in no units being able to shoot.

the screenshots of this map are what made me download spring

someone just needs to open it up and change the features to cost energy only, and get the water shallow enough that land units can traverse the whole map

...and adapt tree hitspheres, if too big to be playable.

The leaves also obscure the units underneath, which is quite problematic.

The last time I played it this map was unplayable. No units or buildings could shoot.

I actually think the trees add an unusual, interesting (and yes, annoying, but for both sides, and only because it is unfamiliar) dynamic.

Unfamiliar dynamic... does being unable to shoot count as a dynamic?

Yes. I would qualify that if I detected less sarcasm in the question.

There might be ways where this map could be made into something playable - experiemnts with intangible non-reclaimable features overlaid over regular spring terrain could be applied here.

But in it's current stat it's not.
