Its very weird because subs and ship factories cannot be built in the middle.

Re-speccing into FFA as the map was intended. There are too few 6FFA maps.

Position 4 has only 1 normal and one big mex (6 metal) and pos 9 only 2 normal mexes (4 metal) compared to 4 normal mexes (8 metal) on other start positions.

... yeah, it's supposed to be a 6FFA, not a 9FFA. It probably would need some work done on it to properly support 9 players.

I assume whoever changed it was trying to cover the desperate shortage of 9FFA maps.

This map does not work well as 6 player FFA either. Box 4 and box 9 are side by side.

Ideas
1: Give box 9 a super mex like box 4 has.
2: Remove box 9 and make a 8 player map. Also remove 4 metal super mex.
3: Make back into a teams map
