Metal map, worth 1.5m a piece except for 1 megamex:

Looks like it will play best top vs bottom, but also side vs side:

16x16 is a large 1v1 or small teams map size. Can this really take 24 players?

People making maps for BA always specify ridiculous team sizes. Like, beherith says his last map is 16-way ffa? WUT

I thought we already established that the description in Behe's new map is bogus. :P

Yea 24 players is silly. I am sure it can support more.

Up to 24 recommended. So it's still quite playable with 30-40? /s

In Zero-K everyone gets a commander and a free factory and IMHO that means that pretty much every map can be played by any amount of players.

Can this map get acid water as a preemptive measure to stop "ravaged ships"?

Shipcons were superior to caretakers. That was fixed some time ago.

This map has a lot of mex. Too many I think for FFA and it looks porcy for teams.

This map was fairly popular a few months ago and it was quite fun to play in ~7v7. It is one of the few maps that has enough metal to prevent a player being totally crippled by losing a commander. With all mexes taken there was about 20m/s for each player.

Clearly Anteep forgot he was posting from TheSponge's account there.

Something interesting to try here would be to have 4 boxes and all-shuffle enabled by default: that way boxes are correct for FFA and there is variety in the way the map is played in teams and duels.

Halp I don't understand why my 14 month old post was so funny. Anyone care to explain? All I remember is that Spongie was an Anteep smurf, but other than that?

My own joke is too high for me. QQ
