where are the coms?

I think that everyone is concentrating on how they'll deal with coms now that ravens are nerfed, rather than how to use coms now their natural enemy is gone. I've been seeing a lot of scythe and scorcher use.

A list of all the things I can think of off the top of my head:

1.) Cloaked Roaches
2.) Skuttle w/ Eraser
3.) 20 rectors and terraform. Then ravening.
4.) Scythes
5.) 3-4 Snipers
6.) Penetrators (and an eraser)
7.) Zeus + eraser
8.) Licho
9.) Spy + Ravens
10.) Spy + Fleas (Theyre probably still bugged and can be moved cloaked.)
11.) Many phoenixes. (Much 'Nam)
12.) Any assortment of heavy units.
13.) Dgun com
14.) Ultımatium
15.) Dante drop
16.) Riot Drop
17.) Cloaked Scallop Drop
18.) Tacnuke + spy
19.) Lots of glaives.
20.) Bantha rush
21.) Cloaked Catapults
22.) Scorpion
23.) Racketeer + Glaives
24.) Shockley + Napalms (much lol)
25.) Shieldball (So noob)
26.) Pillager spam (Underrated)
27.) In-land battleship
28.) In-land Tacnuke Sub
29.) Nuke
30.) Bertha spam.
31.) Spy + 30 shieldcoms building a singu right next to the stunned commander. (Doesn't make cost but FUN factor is high with this one)

Raven sniping is so overrated when you can have like THIRTY other more creative ways of killing commanders.

Remember: Its more fun having fun!

Early on? Any skirm. Rogues, Rockos, Recluses, Scalpel. Most riots work too, Venom, Warrior, Mace.

Later? Licho is still a thing, for planes. Blackdawn, Brawler. Any anti-heavy. Racketeer wasn't mentioned. Nor Crabe, Goliath, Jack. Moderator/Placeholder.

glaives shot ravens. rockos shot ravens.

ravens in attack dive are so slow, even my mom could shot them. acidentally.

I have changed Raven a bit to make its dive much steeper and climb a little steeper. It still spends more time than it used to over its target and is bad at chasing. I would like to see if the current ridiculously low speed at the bottom of the dive can work.

That would help. I do like what pushing raven back has done to the game (so many great games last night), but it was likely a bit too much.

Two things I have learned I will share:

1.)Raven slows down if told to fly low.

2.)Giving Pheonix a move order in the exact same spot as the attack order will make the pheonix drop bombs in a straight line.

This means i can create a widget to autoqueue a move order with the same coordinates as any of my pheonix's attack orders.

A gadget may be programed into ZK to give pheonix a toggle button to switch "hit and run bombing" and "strafing run bombing"

USrankAutoWar - can #2 work against moving targets?

I've changed my mind about this. The ridiculous slowness adds a lot more ground/air interaction. See this game where slow ravens try to bomb out my reapers, which become flex aa as they semi-kite the bombing ravens and actually hit them with plasma shells. In fact I think lots of things that used to get pwnt by ravens now have a chance to kite them and swing back.

I like the idea of (organically) constraining raven to anti-static and anti-heavy roles, plus (organically) allowing more things to hit them.
