Zero-k crashes on startup

Licho 14 years ago [f=0000000] GL: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family You need a video card to play computer games. You can try different drivers but it will probably still run like crap. Also use minimal details. +0 / -0
Vistritium 14 years ago Hmm...if you think that using integral card is the problem I'll try with normal video card. But I can run other games that probably have similar or higher requirements than zero-k. Also my windows 7 gives 6,3 mark to my current integral video card. I just played 8vs8 balanced annihilation game and everything was fine. +0 / -0
Licho 14 years ago Have you tried minimal settings in zero-k lobby? ZK appears to need about same PC as battlefield 3 :) +0 / -0

xponen 14 years ago You need to update the driver (in this case IntelHD) if you want to use it for OpenGl. It will always solve the problem... +0 / -0

Licho 14 years ago Its pretty sure to be video card related. Its very common problem for intel media accelerator. We cannot do much about that :( +0 / -0
Vistritium 14 years ago Very similar problem on my notebook. Although it has 2 video cards (integral and non-integral) it doesnt work. And this "[f=0000000] GL: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family" is also wrote there in infolog. (My notebook can run bf3 ;] ) +0 / -0
Licho 14 years ago It means it used your integrated intel graphics card, unless even the dedicated one is intel.. It should show AMD/ATI or nvidia there +0 / -0
Vistritium 14 years ago It should automatically switch to non-integrated card if needed. And it works for all other games and programs. I'll get soon normal video card for my stationary computer. I didnt like the integral one but father asked me to try it, because it should work well is cheaper in energy. But I have some issues with it, mainly with spring. I want to play zero-k. I wonder what changed. I'm still very angry at leveling system but I'll give it a try. +0 / -0
Vistritium 14 years ago Everything fixed. I put Card driver to my stationary computer and zero-k is working I manually changed spring to use non-integral card and zero-k is working Thanks for your support. +0 / -0
