Bug (?) when trying to leave faction

I could submit a bug report for this somewhere but I thought I'd check if anyone else had the same problem first.

I've joined Humanity Rising accidentally and would like to leave (I preferred not having a bunch of meaningless numbers for the inactive Planetwars). When I click the Leave link I get a server error:

This occurs in both Firefox and Chrome though I can't imagine that being relevant.

(In other news, if you attempt to alter the properties of a non-faction-aligned clan, your settings do NOT default to the clan not being faction-aligned. FYI.)

So that's a "other people get this bug too" then?

Or a "this is intended behaviour"?

If the latter I'd like to file a feature request.
