Chesti 8 years ago How to counter roaches from space with valkyre? I do not see any. Killing terraed newtons is impossible. You would need at least 50 bombers to get a chance of destryoing. missile lab too far away etc... +0 / -0

ivand 8 years ago Hmm, tried same in my sandbox and could never get any success. Valkiries blow up with roach immediately after I press drop in the air. What's the secret of success? xD +0 / -0
GoogleFrog 8 years ago A short range Roach cannon is a bit like a budget Bertha which costs metal to fire. A long ranged Roach cannon costs quite a bit more. I have fixed the bug which made Roaches and Ticks invisible if ejected in midair. This at least makes it more clear what is going on. Now experiment to see if there is anything able to shoot a flying Roach. Firepluk 8 years ago right let's nerf this... This is: a. expensive on most of the maps b. requires metal for each shot, doesn't matter hit or not BB/SILO is mostly always more profitable and cheaper +1 / -0

GoogleFrog 8 years ago Hey Firepluk it is not my fault that Roaches are meant to burrow to cloak. But given they burrow to cloak it makes no sense for them to cloak when flying through the air. That was a bug to be fixed and probably has little impact on the effectiveness of tossing Roaches. The 'sometimes' for Defenders was quite rare. They would often fire but not hit until the Roach has already impacted. +0 / -0
