I would use ellipsis "..." for text that spans more than one line, e.g.
"Original my mestizo and ..."
Also, the minmap, rating, size etc could be aligned to the bottom, giving space to two lines of text at the top (and then use ellipsis for overflow).
What the search searches through does not really matter, since you don't have to display everything that the search uses to find the map. Can you click on the author in the map page? That would also serve as a cue for people to know that the author name can be used for searches.
I would put the star in the front of the map name, e.g. "* FolsomDamDeluxeV4".
The star could be white/grey when not starred/featured/whatever, and golden when featured. This would let people know that there can be a star there, and also make the map names always start from the same position, with/without being starred/featured/whatever the star is for.
