Casted on YouTube.

First I heard of Metal Factions.

Raaar's compush style continues to impress. Very clever player in this regard. For people looking for how to make com morphing viable, I suggest keeping an eye on him.
[Spoiler]

Shaman was in a hard spot. Fleas may have helped, but the spider vs. amph matchup is hard. Grizzly beats almost the entire factory with minimal support. I think he may have needed to spam stingers then rely on his AT abilities to control the sides until he just had more stuff. I'm sure he doesn't care too much though :P

My impression (based on very little evidence) of Spider vs. Amph is that you should make some space earlygame with Venom and Redback (as a composition it seems to beat Duck handily) then switch quickly to something else. If Ducks are ineffective Amph finds it hard to put on pressure early to punish a switch, since Scallop and Buoy are so sloooooow.

Trying to fight the lategame Grizzly composition with Crabe, Infi, etc. head-on seems like a losing strategy.

I thinn shaman should have expanded forward with com and backwards with a con, not the other way around, this would have allowed him go spam defense later, one hlt would stop that push. Also, when spotting the first scallop, he should have made one recluse, which would also slow down the push. He also had a lot of bad engagements with hermit/venom vs scallop and buoys.

I had 4seconds of lag at the time. I would have done a lot better in the engagements with the standard 233ms latency.

You should try it out. It achieves an incredible feat of being interesting and dull at the same time.

Yeah I know Shaman, it was not meant to criticise you, just to argue against snuggle saying that the compush is so strong.

Well at least Spider has Infiltrators. The "mortals vs raaar commander" matchup is much worse for Cloakies and Vehicles.

I dont put this down to the commander, just mis-use of Spiders. Needed recluse and spy, Hermits are useless vs amph. Shame recluse is much worse than bouy - its a pretty impossible matchup imo.

I'm not saying that it's by any means OP. I just think that he pulls the style off well compared to the attempts of others. He's taken me down in team games with it no problem, because he doesn't waste time morphing it in the back.

I'm fairly certain it's OP vs cloaky. I've dumped at least 100 elo trying to find a Cloaky counter to it, and my conclusion it that there is none.

Go shield (or any other factory with an actual antiheavy in roster), or go home.

Actually had spies, couldnt use them due to lag. Hermits take ages to kill and are slightly faster than buoys at slow(50%), they also outrange scallops. With proper connection, this would have been feasible. Lag was an unexpected factor.
