There are bugs with the unit "white dragon" in the chicken mod.
First bug: They spam everywhere, even when there's no mex. Many games were lost due to a spam very close to secured singularities in the back of the base.
Second bug: They do not leave any egg when they die. Any chickens but the queen should leave eggs when they die. It's a very hard unit to kill and I expect it to leave an egg with lots of metal. For instance a wurm leaves an egg worth 150 metal. Maybe an egg from white dragon should leave 500 metal?

Err, replace "mex" with "nest" or "burrow". I was doing too many things when I wrote the above post.

Swarm chickens only spawn on burrows

White dragons shouldnt be spammed. you get like one or two a game.

Sorry for my English. I'm talking about zero k with planet wars now.
So regular Zero-K.
Change spam by spawn.
By the way you get much more than 1 or 2 per game on suicide with a couple of people playing. More like 7 as a bare minimum. And they do spawn everywhere (just spec a game and take a screenshot of when they appear. I see no correlation with the nests)
What about the eggs? Chicken eggs bot make our life very difficult due to that. There should be some eggs and there is none.

So... no idea what's wrong with this unit? I've played a game today where we were 2 humans teams vs chickens. A white dragon appeared in the back of the human ennemy team and blew their singularities. There was no nest there, nor anywhere close. Damn annoying bug.

its not a bug, just because on a smaller map you pushed too far

White Dragon spawns are not tied to nests. They spawn anywhere sufficiently far from player units (assuming there's room there).

(and if the attempted spots are all invalid after 100 tries, it just gives up and uses the last spot)

This is very weird. I know that if you have sight of view on all the map then a nest can spawn into your base.
But on big maps when there are tons of space where we don't have units/radar.
I'm talking for example of the map chicken nugget and comet catcher redux. We have the front where it should be, tons of room for chickens. 0 nest in our base and suddenly a white dragon spawn right in our back 1 cm from a singularity. It blows everything and we lose the game that we were doing great.

So no, I'm more than 100% sure we have no units covering the whole but only the front and our entire base.

I have seen this a few times too .. it ruins chicken games.
I looked into the scripts and i suspect this happen on hilly maps because TestBuildOrder in SpawnMiniQueen will fail because the foot print of mahlazer is big (8).
If my theory is correct perhaps the testBuildingQ variable could be set to something smaller than mahlazer (Planetary Energy Chisel).
Fyi, SpawnMiniQueen is used to spawn a dragon, SpawnMiniQueen and SpawnQueen are identical, they retry 500 times before giving up.

Good idea, I'll use a smaller test building with more slope tolerance.
