The advanced settings in the lobby do not work

After one of the recent updates, the advanced settings for singleplayer, skirmish, advanced are ignored. only the startbox settings seem to be listened to.

I was able to make it listen to the flood water level option and shield type. I think dropdown boxes work but others do not.
