EDIT: The update was pulled, you no longer need to panic.

Apparently it deletes your documents.

This video explains what (not) to do:

Windows 10 is looking more and more like a virus with every update. Secretly, microsoft has developed the first piece of malware disguised as an operating system.

Don't download or buy win10 at all. I thought that after win8 i will not see such crap but i was wrong. And most sad news is that all gaming industry only going with win 10. Win7 is ten times better then win10. I think in future i will migrate to linux. If i have to choose for free crap and crap who i need to buy then i will chose free crap. At least one positive note will be that i will have no way to gaming more if i choose linux.

Ye, ye i know. Also Dota2 which i now playing work in Linux as well. But largest problems is with newest games. If i wanna run newest game i need good machine. But there is much rumors about that newest gpu draivers for linux isn't so good supported (optimized) as for win. But Vulcan seems very promising for linux gaming.

My favorite part of the article:

quote:
And though almost every new indie game seems to launch with a Linux release, we are still left without a way to play many Triple-A titles.

I think that's a selling point to switch to Linux.

In today's day and age there are way too many Triple-A games which basically have inherently flawed game design in order to convince you you need to pay even more to skip portions of the game. This is just an advanced money saving method!

Just a couple. Like 96% (Steam Survey). Reality is that there are some games that work only on windows, and lately I hate less windows (probably because main computer is Linux) than how much I want to play those games ;-) ...
