Is there a way to tilt the camera?

Hi, in promotional screenshots and trailers, we see all sorts of different camera angles being used.

In SupCom, you can hold a key (iirc it was "V"?) and freely tilt/rotate the camera with your mouse.

However, I couldn't find anything like that in the hotkey list or the wiki.

How do they get the camera angles in the trailers / screenshots?

There are different camera modes available. With the default camera, you can tilt by holding the CTRL key.

If you want to freely tilt/rotate around a point or around the camera, you can do that with the COFC camera.

For me COFC rotating is so buggy its unusable.

Ah, thanks. The COFC mode in camera settings solved all my problems.

Although you need to hold ctrl and use the mouse wheel or arrow keys to tilt, rather than moving the mouse. But that's ok.

Ctrl+MMB drag rotates the camera for me in COFC mode.

Ctrl+arrow keys will also rotate the camera about the cursor in COFC. You can also hold Alt+MMB or Alt+arrow keys to rotate the camera about itself.

Ctrl+MMB and Alt+MMB don't work for me. The camera seems like it's trying to rotate (it wriggles and jitters and rotates a little bit but seems stuck.)

Possibly the MMB+drag camera move and the Ctrl/Alt+MMB+drag camera tilt are interfering with each other?

That's why I said it's too buggy for me to use. I observe the same behavior.

COFC rotation usually only gets buggy at low framerates (<20 fps). I don't intend to ever dive back into that code myself, but I am morbidly curious if it ever works properly for you.

My framerate is usually maxed out, the buggy behaviour seems to be unchanged regardless of how much activity there is on screen.

Good to know. Does it have that same behaviour with ctrl/alt+arrow keys?

alt + arrow keys works for me, mouse button does not. I usually have framerate around 120.
