How do I start a normal game?

This might be a dumb question, but I'm just not getting it.

I don't want to play a mission, or a multiplayer game. I was wanting to know if I could set up my own game like what the older versions of spring did, where I chose my game, my map, and set up all the options. I'm just not seeing where to do this: under singleplayer I only see missions, not actual normal games. Basically, I want to play a normal game against the CAI.

In ZK though "normal" is "multiplayer".

We had that idea before too, I think players suggested that to play offline. As far as I know Licho wanted to have a better gui first so newbies can adjust everything without !commands and before that he wanted linux compatibility.
